No New Posts Qualari Oasis

Surrounded by large mounds of sand dunes, the oasis is fairly hard to locate. Unlike the hot springs in Glaciesterra that give off smoke signals to wandering horses, the oasis simply sits there, no signs or check marks located anywhere near. Though, once a horse does happen to venture near and find Qualari, it seems to be almost impossible to leave. The crystalline water which is kept cool by the towering palm trees and nourishes the fruitful cacti and vegetation around the oasis, who would want to part? It is said that the majority of Eremusterra's population actually tend to live near the area, especially mothers expecting or with foals and the elderly. Think about it though, if you found such a paradise in such a harsh land, wouldn't you want to stay? Be wary though, predators think the same way.

No New Posts Cacturah Forest

As the name suggests with the irony of a forest in the desert, Cacturah Forest consists mainly of cacti and shrubs. Many Eremusterrians also spend their time here, forging off the plentiful vegetation. The terrain is still sandy, but small weed-like grasses grow over the large plot of land, heavy shrubs and cacti growing there as well. The closest body of water is a journey over the Milwarkii Canyon and few choose to go through the trouble. Instead, the easiest way to obtain water is by carefully slicing a cactus in half and drinking its stored water, or by eating the tuna.

No New Posts Milwarkii Canyon Range

Hence the name of this landmark, it is neither simply canyons, nor a mountain range, but both. On one of the Milwarkii's sides, the Cacturah Forest crawls up the base for simply a hundred feet before fading out to simple stone. There are a few mountains, the majority expanding off into plateaus which curve down sharply and wind, creating the canyon part. There is few vegetation, so there still is some hope of survival on Milwarkii. Shelter is plentiful as caves sprout up all over from the rock, and water is sometimes easy to find, stored over years in cave pools. If the horse is brave enough, and manages to make it over the canyon range, then it may reach the ocean, but it is highly unlikely. There are many cliffs and sharp drop offs leading to the water and only few ways down, and even those are very hard to come down from. The earth and rock are unforgiving and will give way at any moment, so be careful where you trod. One misplaced hoof and you may crumble down with the rock.

Board Description
Urajkan Desert
Naming the majority of the Eremusterra Kingdom, the Urajkan Desert spreads over many miles. Though one may expect the desert to simply hold sand, Urajkan is an owner of many delights, locations and land marks. To name a few is the Qualari Oasis, Cacturah Forest, and the Milwarkii Canyon Range. The horses who call this arid habitat their home are usually of hotblood descent, or at least have a portion of the blood within them. They tend to be lean and agile, good runners and rugged. These equine are survivors to say the least to live and flourish in one of nature's harshest of homes.
